What is myofascial release?
Your horse's body and their muscles are covered in a connective tissue, called fascia, that allows them to stretch and move. When the fascia becomes tight or restricted, it can cause pain and reduce mobility.Myofascial release, or MFR, is a gentle yet incredibly effective technique that releases these restrictions in the fascial system. The result is reduced pain, improved range of motion, increased circulation, and more.

Hi, I’m Michelle - lifelong horse lover and equine body worker.I took riding lessons as a child and returned to the saddle as an adult, training and competing in dressage (and hopefully eventing!). My appreciation for horses, no matter the breed or discipline, led me to bodywork and ultimately my specialty of myofascial release.I am currently in the externship portion of my Equine Myofascial Release Certification through Freely Forward Bodywork LLC, expected to complete in March 2026.My work allows me to help horses of all ages, breeds, and disciplines feel better by achieving balance in their bodies. Equine Bodywork Session
Your horse’s session includes both static and dynamic assessments followed by targeted massage, myofascial release and stretching. You will receive a detailed session report.
60 Minute Session ………….. $80
Sneak Away Affiliate Session
Special introductory rate for horses at or affiliated with Sneak Away Riding Club.
SARC Affiliate Session ………….. $65
Travel Fees
Sessions include 30 miles of travel from 77082. Mileage is charged for each mile over 30.
Travel Fee ………….. $0.70/mile
